Lily

Last weekend I took my son and daughter to my hometown. Luckily, the weather was nice and it was very pleasant to take a walk around the my parent’s house.We found lilies blooming in the backyard.

I love lilies because I can feel their core strength in their beauty. When I was a university student, I went to Bakersfield, California for a short study abroad program, and my host mother told me, “You are just like a lily. ” I was so happy that I still vividly remember this moment.

After that I used lilies for my bouquet and hair ornament at my wedding, so lilies are a special flower for me. I always want to be a person like a lily…
